What is The Kids We Were about?

The Kids We Were is a cinematic adventure game with a heavy focus on narrative. Set in the late Japanese Showa era (the 1980s), it's a nostalgic journey through a unique time in Japan's recent history. Take on the role of Minato, a young boy who sets out on an unexpected and incredible summer adventure. Our story begins with Minato arriving in the small town of Kagami, an exceptionally ordinary sort of place in a sleepy suburb of Tokyo. But there's more to this simple trip than meets the eye. Minato has a secret objective: he intends to find his missing father, who is supposedly living somewhere in the area. Our young sleuth Minato wastes no time getting started, and soon finds a puzzling clue to his father's whereabouts. A mysterious notebook left for him with the portentous title "The Seven Mysteries." With this notebook as his guide, Minato sets out on a long and difficult journey, not through space, but through time. For his destination is none other than 33 years in the past—the day his father and mother first met!

Should I stream The Kids We Were on Twitch?

0/100 · Closed off· 2 viewers per streamer on paper

Probably not. None of the 2 people watching The Kids We Were are watching in English — every live stream is in another language, so there is nobody here for an English broadcast to reach.

None of the 2 viewers here are watching in English — every live stream is in another language, so there is nobody for an English broadcast to reach.

Only 0 of the 2 viewers here (0%) are watching in English. 0 of the 1 live streams are in English.

Almost nobody here is available to you — either a couple of streams hold the room, or nobody is watching in English, or the category is empty, or you would be buried.

This reads the room as it is right now — how much of the English-speaking audience is reachable and where you would land — not how many followers you would gain. That depends on you.

Where to buy

All plain links straight to the official stores. Some will become affiliate links later, and they’ll be marked with a ♥ when they are — you’ll always be able to tell, and the unmarked ones will always be there.

Is The Kids We Were too saturated on Twitch?

Not crowded, but not open either. Only 1 person is streaming The Kids We Were, every one of them in another language — so the room is quiet because there is nobody here for an English broadcast to reach, not because it is waiting for you.
