A military regime called the Alpha Sections has risen to power promising to defend the population, yet it seems unable to stop the attacks, and an underground resistance called the IRIS Network suspects the two are secretly in league. Into this conflict steps Jade, a young photojournalist who lives in an island lighthouse that shelters children orphaned by the DomZ, alongside her boar-like companion Uncle Pey'j. When a photography assignment draws Jade into IRIS's investigation, she is recruited as an agent and sets out to expose the truth behind the disappearances plaguing Hillys.
